Using PV-50C camera
The PEKAT software on the PV50C camera works almost the same as on a regular PC with a few differences, mostly in the Projects Manager.
Differences in Projects Manager
You can only have one running project - more projects running at the same time shouldn’t be necessary since you can have the camera connected to only one project at a time
You can switch the camera between RO (read-only) and RW (read-write) mode in the Projects Manager settings - usually you want to have the camera in RO mode but the RW mode is needed for some operations, the camera will be restarted after each switch
You can change the IP settings of the camera between DHCP and static IP in the Projects Manager settings - this requires camera to be set to the RW mode, the camera will be restarted
You can upload new version of PEKAT VISION software in the Projects manager settings - this likewise requires the camera to be in the RW mode and the camera will be restarted after the upload
Differences in project
Cannot change the provider or the camera in the camera window - you can only use the PV-50C camera for image acquisition so there is no need to switch provider or camera
