    What it is

Projects Manager is a useful tool that can be used to easily create, manage and start PEKAT VISION projects. Those projects can then be used to train AI models and evaluate images using those models.

    How to use it

Project manager can be used either through GUI or to a lesser extent through terminal.

The GUI can be started by running "C:\Program Files\PEKAT VISION <X>\starter\pekat-vision-launcher.exe" where <X> is the PEKAT VISION software version you want to run.

    For example: "C:\Program Files\PEKAT VISION 3.18.0\starter\pekat-vision-launcher.exe"

Additionally, when the Projects Manager is running, it can handle web requests that provide useful information about projects. Also, if you start it in settings, the Projects Manager can accept and respond to simple TCP requests that provide similar information to the web requests.

    Projects Manager through Terminal

Using Projects Manager through terminal is a little different depending on your operating system. To find how to use it on Windows you can look here:

PEKAT VISION software doesn’t support Linux since version 3.14.6, but for information on how to use the Projects Manager through terminal on Ubuntu, you can look here:

    Web Requests for Projects Manager

Web requests can be used to access list of all accessible PEKAT VISION projects and check their status. To find out more about how can you send web requests to Projects Manager, you can look here:

    Simple TCP communications

Simple TCP communication with Projects Manager works similarly to the web requests, but it’s simpler to use in programs and it can be used to also start and stop projects. The TCP communications have to first be started in Projects Manager’s settings. To better understand how to use them you can look here:
