Connecting Industrial Light

To connect an industrial light to a PV-50C camera, you must connect pin number 4 of the camera’s pin assignment, labeled OUT1 (Camera Line 2), to the +24V power pin on the light.
Setting up the software through camera settings
To set up the light, you have to go to the camera settings in the camera tab.
Select level of settings - expert or guru.
Then select DIGITAL IO CONTROL. Line selector has be set to Line2. Camera line 2 is outputting to OUT1 on the M12 connector pin assignment. You have to set Line Mode to Output. Then select Line source based on your preference.
Line source options:
ExposureActive - during the image acquisition (camera exposure), the light is ON.
TriggerReady - Light is ON when the trigger is received.
UserOutput1 - Output is set based on the User Preference under “User Output Value All - min 0 - max 7”.
