Kiosk Mode

  • Kiosk Mode

Kiosk mode can be activated in Projects Manager Settings, but it only takes effect after restarting the Projects Manager. It’s meant to be used after finishing the training of models and using the project on production line.

    Function

In the Kiosk mode, the Projects Manager is displayed over the whole screen and cannot be closed. This is to prevent Operators from doing changes to the system. However, the Projects Manager still allows access to settings and allows creating, importing and management of projects.

Additionally, once a project is started, the OPEN GUI button will be replaced with OPEN OPERATOR button, that will provide access only to the Operator View of that project, so that the operator would not be able to change annotations or models.

Then the operator view looks like it’s described in the Operator View page:

    Usage

The Kiosk Mode is useful when you want to restrict the access of an operator to only the functions he needs to perform the inspection over products on the production line.
