How to set PEKAT to run on startup automatically?

There is an option to natively set PEKAT VISION to run on PC startup in the Project Manager settings. If you tick this checkbox, PEKAT will start automatically on the next start of your PC.

 

 

For older versions of PEKAT, this was the approach to do the same thing for Windows 10:

  • Press Windows Key + R

  • Copy the run command: Shell:common startup

  • It will reach the path: “C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Start-up”

  • Navigate to the following path “C:\Program Files\PEKAT VISION [version]\starter”

  • Create a shortcut of “pekat-vision-launcher.exe” (Right click → Create shortcut)

  • Drag and drop the shortcut to “C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Start-up”

  • Restart the computer
