Feasibility Study Requirements
In order to process a feasibility study request, there are good practices that are important in order to achieve satisfactory results.
To request a feasibility study, access our PEKAT VISION Customer Portal and access our Feasibility Request section.
Please, keep in mind that the feasibility study report may take more than one week to process. If you have any questions, contact support on PEKAT VISION Customer Portal or email support@pekatvision.com.
Image Quality Requirements
Defects must be clearly visible.
Images captured in stable conditions - Appropriate lighting & fixed camera position.
We recommend providing images taken by an Industrial Camera with a minimum of 500 x 500 pixels depending on the complexity of a project.
We recommend saving the information about the camera setup, so that it can be easily reconstructed in case more photos would be required.
Dataset Requirements
At least 30 NOK images and 30 OK images and at minimum 5 to 10 images for each defect type, depending on the complexity of the project.
Ideally, the images would be divided into OK and NOK folders and if applicable, the NOK images would be split into subfolders based on different defect types.
Inspection Requirements
Defects description - provide a document describing the defect types and their location. In some projects, we recommend providing some sample images with the defects highlighted.
Inspection Time - describe how many milliseconds at most can the processing flow take to evaluate a single image.
