Supported Cameras

The user is able to select the following camera sources: API, Basler / Datalogic, and Toshiba Teli.

PEKAT VISION has native support for Basler / Datalogic and Toshiba Teli cameras. The only requirement is an installed camera driver provided by the manufacturer.

API

When selecting API, PEKAT VISION processes images sent through REST API - For more information access the following article: REST API - Send Images to PEKAT VISION.

Script Supported Cameras

For the following camera manufacturers, the camera connection is done by script:

  • Photoneo

Script Unsupported Cameras

For cameras that are not in script supported cameras list, our development team is able to develop a script. However, the camera must be shipped to our office for the script development.

Process & Save images

Process

When Process function is enabled, PEKAT VISION processes images from the camera feed, through the software flow (modules).

Save images

Save images functions saves image frames to the image database.

This function automatically saves all incoming images.

Save images may generate a high number of images, so use this feature with caution.

The number of images saved per second will vary according to camera FPS and PC hardware configuration.

Native Camera connection

Once the camera driver is installed and the camera plugged in, PEKAT VISION should automatically connect to the camera, once the camera source is selected.

You can let the application automatically adjust the camera settings or you can upload an existing settings file.

Set Features - Beginner, allows users to modify basic camera settings.

Set Features - Expert

Set Features - Expert, allows users to modify advanced camera settings.

Set Features - Guru

Set Features - Guru, allows users to modify all available camera settings.
