Project Manager GUI grants a lot of useful functions for manipulating with or creating PEKAT VISION projects. In addition, it also displays information that might be useful when using the functions provided by the GUI or when communicating with the PEKAT VISION support in case you have any problem with the software.
Header section
This section contains the PEKAT VISION software name, software version and SETTINGS button which opens the settings section.
Project creating section
Second is project creating section that has buttons for creating a new project from scratch, importing a project from a zip archive or opening a project from a folder located on the local machine.
The open project option isn’t available when working from web interface.
Project management section
Then there’s project managing section, where you can see the list of existing projects. By clickong on the three dots on the right side of a project you can:
export project into a .zip file
create a copy of a project
show project path which shows the path to the project on the local computer (if using the web interface, this shows the path to the project on the computer where the manager is running)
open a logger where you can see a list of logs related to that project, which you can download and can be very useful for PEKAT VISION support
remove a project (this only removes the project from the project manager, but the project folder is still intact on the local computer)
delete a project (this completely deletes the project folder)
Additionally, when clicking on a project, it opens project settings section, where you can take more actions to modify the project.
Manager settings section
The settings section opens when you click on the SETTINGS button in the header section.
At the top of the section is a language choice field where you can choose a language in which the project manager would be displayed. The current available options are English, German, Czech, Japanese and Chinese.
Then, there is a field that activates the Kiosk Mode. For it to take effect, the Project Manager needs to be restarted. You can find more information about the Kiosk Mode here.
Next is a field that if ticked makes it so that the Project Manager starts on PC startup.
Then there’s a web address that you can use to access the Project Manager from a web intergace.
Finally there are two buttons at the bottom. The LICENSE button and the LOGGER button.
The LICENSE button displays the current active license for the PEKAT VISION software.
After clicking on the MANUAL LICENSE ACTIVATION button, you can read and copy the digital fingerprint and manually acctivate your license by pasting it into the License text field and clicking the Activate button.
The LOGGER button shows a list of logs from the Project Manager labeled by date. You can download any of the logs and they can be very useful when reporting some bug to the PEKAT VISION support team.
