This function is located under the ‘Camera’ tab. It can process images that get to the application either directly from a connected camera or through HTTP API, for more information read our article /wiki/spaces/CONFLUENCE/pages/7569620 REST API.

Connecting and setting up a camera

When you plug a camera in your computer, select input from camera an turn the ‘Camera’ slider on, the application should automatically recognize it. You can let the application automatically adjust the camera settings or you can upload an existing settings file.

If your camera is not detected automatically, or either you require a multi-camera setup, please visit our following Help Center article :/wiki/spaces/CONFLUENCE/pages/131121 Camera Integration & Multi-camera Setup.

Processing

When ‘processing’ is on (in the left panel), the image is displayed after being processed with the detected objects or heatmap (or also rectangles which can be toggled on and off).

Capture, Save images

‘Capture’ saves the current shot to the image database. ‘Save images’ automatically saves all incoming images (this produces a high number of images, so use this feature with caution).

Show video camera in left panel

This displays the thumbnail view of the camera in the left panel, whick can help you keep track of camera if you switch to other modules.
